EMMA LAWRENCE

I'm Emma - a filmmaker who prioritizes your laughter and discomfort. I've been a director, writer, and editor for fifteen years. While my peers were on the playground, I spent my childhood behind the screen of my family's 2009 iMac, learning how to edit my films on iMovie. Since then, I've become proficient in Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere, and DaVinci Resolve.

 

In December 2025 I graduated from Cal Poly Humboldt with a bachelor's degree in film. I have pitched, written, directed, edited, and colored over six films, including You Don't Know Jack, In 5 Days, and What Sits Between Us, which have screened and received nominations in multiple festivals.
